Best Part of the movie for me. Yeah, this has turned into quite the rant. I am not going to put Ufotable's Kara no Kyoukai's animation 2007-2013 over this series' animation 2015-? These videos are also for the current episode. After all, our main characters happened to be the Chosen Ones of the Digital World. During the evolution sequences, Ikkakumon's pose was just plain stupid and Rosemon just looked soooo awkward at times. Overall 4 Story 3 Animation 6 Sound 4 Character 4 Enjoyment 5 Today was aired the second part of Digimon Tri and I have some bad things to say about it. But this brings her a big problem: she is seen as egoist by his friends and school coleagues.
You see the teenagers living their life with their Digimon while trying to grow up, all while once again dark forces try to break the peaceful balance. Well not even a close up to their faces really convey that very strongly. Cant wait for the next movie! She is not a character you have never seen before but she certainly is a charming fresh breath of air. Until now none of them has had an important development or a revealing backstory and the entire repertoire falls flat. This time around, the focus shifts from Taichi and Yamato to Joe and Mimi Mei as well I guess.
On the other hand, Mimi has quite the opposite problem. I personally enjoyed the focus on the characters a lot more and found the characters growing up a lot of fun Mimi in particular is a joy. They reflect the problems the children have to face regarding growing up with their own personality, which shows that becoming older is not easy for anyone. I feel like they regressed back in time? In a way this new Mimi reminds me of Rio from AssClass, with that teasing personality, similar hairstyle, just different colour. Nothing has happened really in the two movies as a whole so either we will get a lot of story next time or there really will not be one worth remembering. I was so excited to see the Ultimate Evolutions, even got to see those but then it got over in just 5 mins or so.
This problem is one glaring flaw of Digimon Adventure storyline regardless of which season one will picked and this series is not safe for that glaring flaw. However, these slice of life actually helps in rebuilding the characters and refresh the audience to know them again. Thanks to some excellent world building, we are able to understand what the new threat is and what methods can be used to overcome them. ~ Story wise, there wasn't progress other than the first and last 5 minutes of the movie, it was more concentrated on the Digidestined, which is fair enough I guess, it's Digimon, character development was always a big thing. I think the series is going on a good direction.
As the title implies, it's more or less about teenagers must have their determination in life. Meiko is introduced during some truly entertaining slice of life scenes. And the fact that the Evolutions were short-lived leaves me unhappy. Then on the day of Tsukishima General High School's festival, that man appears before them. This is also true with Koshiro having blatant crush on Mimi with his interest on fashion as an evidence on his actions he had as well as showing his honest opinion to Mimi about that certain situation in the second movie. I don't love them or anything, but Mei in particular grew on me a bit after this film, so I'm ok with her now. This ends my review about the first two Digimon Adventure tri movies.
The premise for this part is pretty good. Terima kasih telah mendownload anime Digimon Adventure tri. Both, Mimi and Joe, face more mature inner problems than before - and that's awesome, because the two just grew up or try to do so. And the next one is coming out in november! Fortunately, they do so in an amazingly realistic and adult manner without being cheesy. Everyone has a good time, but Joe doesn't show up. Get it right Toei, first you say you'd make an anime series, then you suddenly change it to a 6 part movie series, then you delay it etc. This is a noticeable improvement from Digimon tri 1 and feels like a platform for some potentially great stories to come.
We do not hear much about her past but we find out what kind of character she is: a great addition to the Chosen Children. At the end of Digimon tri 2 there are plenty of questions left unanswered and a wide range of places the story can go so I'm definitely looking forward to Digimon tri 3. Reference to Plato's theory of form was present, albeit little and very vague but at least they are sticking through with it. For now, I will still be watching the other four movies in the future to see some development for this series' actual plot especially considering that vague idea it tried to work out in the beginning of the series which made me felt I am watching Madoka Magica than a Digimon series. That is the point of the movies, not another cookie cutter adventure where another digivolution occurs to defeat the super ultimate evil. Sadly, this is not the only continuation error and it is improbable that they will be fixed.
Everything about Mimi and Joe hit so close to home I had to pause and take a breath because those were topics that concerned me so much. The first movie had the advantage of novelty and being an introduction to the older kids and their day-to-day lives, meaning it was automatically interesting. This was the very first time that Mimi, imho, was not totally annoying, but acting rational - while still managing to stay in character. But also Gomamon has some issues he has to face: Due to Jou not wanting to fight, he has to question their relationship. Time has passed since Alphamon appeared, and restoration work has moved ahead little by little in the town of Odaiba.
